The 1st Group

The 1st Group was founded by property industry experts Graham McIntosh and Chris Finney. The Group currently consists of three brands — Asset 1st, Valu 1st, and Pelican Independent Professional Services.

At the end of 2011 they secured a significant investment, allowing them to realise their ambitious growth plans in the UK property market. As a result, they are now in the process of broadening their scope and strengthening our range of services.

Asset 1st, a subsidiary of the 1st Group, provides property management services during the repossession processs. AYO Media were tasked with building a web-based management system that would allow staff to collaborate online and manage properties, suppliers and tasks, whilst providing auditing services, document generation and performance reporting tools.

During the delivery process the development team focussed on identifying the key business objects and how they were processed within the organisation. A prototype of the system was then produced. This was hugely successful and allowed the rapid development of the final product.
